Find Out the Way to Solve Outlook Issue “Cannot save the file, Cannot create file.”

Outlook is a program of Microsoft Office suite. It has been providing high-level email service to the people. Many people are using Outlook email service on their devices. It mainly occurs due to storage of Temporary and junks Internet Files or folder on a server to which the user has restricted access permissions. “Cannot save the file, Cannot create a file.
 Right-click the folder you want to create the file in and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder”.

When  the “Cannot open or save Email Attachments in Outlook” Outlook issue occurs:-

If your Outlook is not able to open an attachment and you are getting the message‘“Cannot create file” then, it has just occurred because of a temporary file and folder or the storage of other data as the same name. You can face this problem if you do not have the valid permit to save any folder on the server.

  • Open the “File Explorer”
  • Then open the “C Drive” of the window.
  • Make a new folder with a name folder name like-
  • Launch the Registry Editor by using “Win+R” key at the same time.
  • Type the regedit and click on the “ Enter” key.
  • Enter the below-given registry key:
“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security” 
  • Go to the right panel and then double-click on “OutlookSecureTempFolder.”
  • Move to Value Data section, and type the “C:\tempoutlook\.”
  • After that, click on the “OK” option.
  • Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer system.
After completing the above-given process. If you are not able to attach files to emails in the Outlook 2016, then please proceed to the next steps:-
  • First, Click on “Format Text menu” option.
  • Choose the HTML.
  • Sometimes, it might happen that some of the troublesome emails do not allow you to add any attachments and ‘Plain Text’ emails also.
