How to set Homepage and StartPage in Microsoft Edge Browser

Edge browser uses MSN as its Homepage by default, but you’re able to change this in Microsoft Edge browser with Google, Facebook, and with your other favorite websites.
Just set the websites as your Homepage or Start page to frequently and easily visit your favorite site. With Microsoft Edge, you can also specify as many other Websites to set as Homepage and open when you want. Next time when you open your browser, you’ll find your favorite Website on your screen.
Follow the below method to use these settings to change the StartPage of Edge.


How to change the Homepage of Microsoft Edge Browser
  1. Open ‘Microsoft Edge’ browser on your device.
  2. Click the three dots icon button at the upper-right corner of the browser’s screen to go to Settings.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down options.
  4. Scroll down and find ‘Advanced settings’ into the settings.
  5. Click on the ‘View advanced settings’ into the advanced settings section.
  6. Click and ‘Turn on the Switch’ of Show the home button. A drop-down box will appear.
  7. Click the ‘dropdown box’ to open the drop-down menu.
  8. Click ‘A specific page’ from the menu.
  9. Click on the text box labeled as ‘Enter a URL’ to enter a web address.
  10. Enter the website address you want to make the Homepage of your Edge browser. (e.g., http://www.google.com to set Google as a homepage).
  11. Now, click on the ‘Save’ icon at the right of the URL box to save your new homepage.
Now, whenever you click the home button, the browser will load the homepage that you’d entered.
How to set the StartPage of Microsoft Edge Browser
  1. Open ‘Microsoft Edge’ browser on your device.
  2. Click the three dots icon button at the upper-right corner of the browser’s screen to go to Settings.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down options.
  4. Now, click the ‘drop-down box labeled as Start page’ below ‘Open Microsoft Edge with’ heading.
  5. Select ‘A specific page or pages’ from the drop-down options to enter a URL for Start Page.
  6. Click on the text box labeled as ‘Enter a URL’ to enter a web address.
  7. Enter the website address you want to make the Start page of your Edge browser. (e.g., http://www.google.com to set Google as a Start page).
  8. Now, click on the ‘Save’ icon at the right of the URL box to save your new Start page.
The start page of your Edge browser will be changed, and whenever you open the Edge browser, it will open with your entered start page. Close and reopen the browser to check it.
