Steps to synchronize Echo with Microsoft To-Do
In short Amazon Alexa is called Alexa. It is like a digital assistant and has multiple uses, capable of voice interaction, music, setting etc. First, it was used in the Amazon Echo. Alexa is widely in use in the U.S. The interaction and communication with Alexa is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.
By following the simple steps, you can synchronize the third- party Alexa skill that makes it all happen and can sync the Microsoft account.
- Launch the Amazon Alexa app on the smartphone or in the browser.
- Launch the skills and games section.
- Look for the Wonder Do It skill in the search box.
- Hit enable to add the skill to the Amazon Echo.
- Log into the Microsoft account from the web browser.
- A pop up will appear to link the account.
Steps to add job and shopping list to Microsoft To-Do
The skill will automatically add things the users ask the digital assistant to add to their Microsoft To-Do lists without them needing to set anything up. Whenever the user adds a job, it will go into the “Task” list. If the user asks the digital assistant to insert any item to the shopping list, it will directly go into a new list in Microsoft To-Do called “Alexa Shopping List”.
To insert things from the Amazon Echo, just ask the digital assistant as per the below suggestions:
“Hey, Alexa add washing dishes to my to-do list.”
“Hey, Alexa insert cookies and milk to the shopping list.”
These are the standard digital voice commands and will get added to users respective Alexa lists. The Wonder Do It skill will then get synchronised both to the users Microsoft To- Do account. Then it can be accessed anywhere on the user’s devices.
By the digital assistant, a user can’t see what’s on his Microsoft To-Do lists. The user is just able to add items using the Echo. Point to be noted that things added will be removed from the digital assistant shopping and To-do lists once synchronised to Microsoft To-Do.
