Guide to Using Widgets on iPad in iPadOS 13

In iPadOS, the older Today View has undergone minor changes. It can now be accessed from the Home Screen. Users can pin their favorite widgets there. These widgets will appear on the left-hand corner of the iPad’s Home screen. If you are wondering how to use widgets on your iPad, then read on.
Adding Your Favorite Widgets
If you want to add your favorite widgets, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First of all, go to the first page of the iPad & then swipe rightward.
  • You can also swipe down from the top of the display, then swipe rightward to view widgets.
  • Then you have to select the Edit tab.
  • Go to the widgets & select the green Add icon which you want to add your favorites Widgets.
  • Later, you have to select the red minus icon if you would like to remove the Widget from favorites.
  • Now, tap on Done to apply the changes.
Stay Widgets on the Home Screen
You need to stay widgets on the home screen, follow the steps mentioned below.
  • Get started by going to the first page of the iPad’s Home Screen.
  • Then you should swipe rightward to see the widgets.
  • You have to move down to the end of the widget list until you view the Edit option.
  • Thereafter you should go to the Edit tab.
  • You have to go to the “Keep on Home Screen,” & switch the toggle to the “On” position.
  • Now, tap on Done.
Pin Favorite Widgets on the Home Screen
If you want to pin favorite widget on the Home screen, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • To get started, navigate to the first page of the iPad’s Home screen.
  • You have to swipe upward to show the widgets.
  • Then you should move down until the Edit tab appears.
  • Navigate to the Edit tab.
  • Thereafter touch & move the handle on the widgets which you want to pin into the Pinned Favorites section.
  • Now, tap on Done.
Access All the Widgets from the iPad’s Home Screen
You need to access all the widgets from the iPad’s Home screen, follow the steps mentioned below.
  • First, you have to go to the first page of the Home screen.
  • You can also swipe down from the top to access the Notification Center.
  • Then you should swipe rightward to see the Today View.
  • Swipe upward to see the unused favorite widgets.
  • If you want to see widgets -go with the Notification Center instructions, you will see all active widgets without extra swipes.
Access the Widgets from the Lock Screen
If you want to access the widgets from the lock screen, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First & foremost, go to the iPad & press the power key to wake up the screen.
  • Now, you should swipe rightward to see the favorite widgets.
